Yes!

They arrived today and they’re are alive!

Final IONI

The final IONI with PCI-E 8X connector

The first tests show no issues at all and all the things we wanted to change from prototype seem to have succeed.

  1. Looking great Tero,
Cannot wait to start with the direct drive force feedback wheel using these :)

Great work, will sent you an email!

    Cheers,

  2. Hi,

I’ve played some time with it. Thank you, Tero. It was an 1 KW servo motor with ~1 KW, 1000 rpm, resp. 10 Nm, the DC bus Voltage was 49,5 V. It’s a 10 kg motor. The servo is like 20 grams. Achieved speed – 320 rpm (Rated voltage of the motor ~189 V!!!)
The next try – a real client with a self developed linear motor. The guys there have tried it (unfortunately) with 100 V power supply. Before give it for testing, I’ve attached a 100 W, 10 Ohm brake resistor to the system. Fortunately they had a current limit adjusted to 3 A – the drive still works.
    Great!
Is this pinout the valid one for serial production: http://granitedevices.com/wiki/IONI_connector_pinout ?

Wish all of you same good emotions with the first ones of the EONI!

    greets Lubchi
