Hello,

I have a motor which used to be a part of a Kuka robot arm. Its model no is the same (1FK6100-8AF91-1ZZ9-ZS09). I'm looking for a servo drive for this motor. Do you have servo drives fitting this motor?

Hi. I've been following this post with a great deal of interest. I believe there is a good bit of potential here in the home flight simulator market. I actually have a REAL Boeing 737 cockpit in my garage that I have converted into a flight simulator and about to embark on the control loading part.

I would love to see some support for this. Of particular interest would be the ability to close the force loop with a low cost load cell. I have quite a bit of background in this so please don't hesitate to reach out and I can give you some ideas :-)....

Cheers,
Matt

Hi Tero,

If you're interested, the FFB solution based on Arduino Leonardo and IONI I've already talked about in my email is presented here (in English) :

Moro Tero,
See Florian's post above, of course my nickname is 'Beano' who also posted my work log in the French forums.

Anyway, if you are interested, I can bring along one of my spare 5,000PPR (20,000 CPR) encoders, it should be quite easy for you to fit. It works very well on my servos.

Anyway, I can give you all the help and information you will need, let me know.

You have my email.

Kind regards,
Phillip (Austrlia)

If the controller sees it as incremental encoder, I don't see why not. What kind of resolution will the simulated encoder output be capable of? Does it use interpolation?

Later Argon FW has simulated encoder output inside drive (on 6 pin EXT conncetor). So it outputs motor position as quadrature representation even with resolver. Maybe it could be used?

Well the first problem you will face is that the projects that i know mmos force feedback and the other french forum project is that you need an incremental encoder feedback to make it work, i got an akm 63m taking dust cause it has a resolver feedback :(
